Chike Aguh

Head of Innovation & Strategy, Kapor

Chike Aguh (pronounced Chee-kay Ah-goo) is a nationally recognized leader at the intersection of innovation, economic opportunity, and the future of work. He currently serves as the inaugural Head of Innovation & Strategy at the Kapor Center, where he works across philanthropy, impact investing, and policy to scale technology-driven solutions that expand economic mobility and workforce access.

Previously, Chike was appointed by President Biden to serve as Chief Innovation Officer at the U.S. Department of Labor, where he helped lead a $2 billion modernization of unemployment insurance systems and advanced the Department’s first enterprise data strategy. Over his career, he has held leadership roles across government, nonprofit, education, and private sectors, including Accenture, the McChrystal Group, and EAB.

A Fulbright Scholar and Presidential Leadership Scholar, Chike holds degrees from Tufts University, Harvard University, and the Wharton School. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Maryland Higher Education Commission and lives in Prince George’s County with his family.
