Mehrak Aliaskari is a Senior Vice President and Private Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. Mehrak’s primary objective is to help clients of Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management create strategies to grow, protect and distribute wealth in the most efficient manner. Believing that sound financial advice must begin with a detailed financial planning base, Mehrak obtained the designation of Certified Financial Planner CFP®, awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

Mehrak believes that the adversity he has overcome in his lifetime allows him to look at our clients’ situations from a different perspective, with an inherent belief that preserving the wealth they have built is the first priority. When Mehrak was young, his father had the foresight to leave a prominent position as a fighter pilot in Iran and move his family to the United States and start over for a chance at a better life for his kids. Not willing to waste the great opportunity that his parents sacrificed to give him, Mehrak worked his way through college at George Mason University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. At the same time, he interned at Merrill Lynch, where he rose through the ranks and now heads the Aliaskari Group within the exclusive Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management.

Mehrak resides in Fairfax, Virginia with his wife, Alexandria, and three children. Mehrak loves to coach his kids in all sports from soccer to basketball as well as softball and baseball. Mehrak and Alexandria are excited to raise their kids in the beautiful and historical Washington, D.C. area that Mehrak has been proud to call home for over 30 years.
