Fight For Children Youth Sports Day brought together parents and their children to learn more about the variety of nonprofit organizations operating programs for young people in underserved communities throughout the DMV.

Parents learned how each program intentionally combines physical activity, education, and social and emotional learning to empower young people and give them the skills necessary to overcome obstacles, achieve their goals, and become healthy, thriving citizens.
